The series KURASHI is a video series that consists of 3 videos, that seek to capture the primary energy of human lives.

　Humans demonstrate their ability to live when they are pioneering new place or new field of their life. People in developed world like Japan have no problem in keeping ourselves alive. (The country makes us alive with least financial support and leaving some with appreciation of life. )

 In a way, seeking the next action and problem solving is a primary desire of human being.

This video is a comical skit in which 2 strangers fully communicate their presence through their voice and body. After looking at their movements and body for a while, there’s no mystery to what they may be thinking. That is a reason why we can laugh and love them. *The language is untranslated on purpose.

This piece captures human struggling to communicate with others. They are all adults who can speak words, but their ability to express and communicate to others were not developed enough. It is about voiced (or unvoiced) words and their presence.

WILD -body/life/encounter- (HD video/ 18:51)

 

This piece represents the evolution of human through girls facing and reacting to each environments and situations. 9 females makes various “action” in the nature. In various actions of “seeking”, audience will find “dance”. “Dance” in this represent a bodily materialization of emotion and thinking. It distracts and sometimes support the action.
